In a remarkable ceremony held at Hotel Armada, Petaling Jaya on Thursday, 11 May 2023, a Sri Bintang Education student, Nur Sabrina Binte Muhammad Azhar, was honoured for her extraordinary academic achievement. She received the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for her exceptional performance in A-level Islamic Studies, attributing her success to the grace of God and the support of her teachers, particularly Mr. Salman Bashir, her dedicated Islamic Studies teacher.
 
Organised by Cambridge Assessment International Education, the event celebrated the outstanding academic accomplishments of secondary school learners in Malaysia. Guest of Honour, Puan Aniza Kamarulzaman, Director for the Private Education Sector at the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, was in attendance.
 
Following an address by Puan Aniza and Mr. Ng Kim Huat, the Country Director for Malaysia and Brunei, Cambridge Assessment International Education, the award recipients were announced. The presentation of prizes and certificates to students who excelled in various categories marked the highlight of the event.
 
In an interview, a grateful Nur Sabrina said, "This award is not just a recognition of my individual efforts, but it’s also a testament to the nurturing environment at Sri Bintang Education, the unwavering support from my teachers, like Mr. Salman Bashir, and my family. I owe my success to the grace of God, and I am humbled by this honour. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 and the MCO, we have demonstrated that with resilience, a positive mindset, and faith, success is achievable."
 
Sri Bintang Academy’s Principal echoed these sentiments, stating, "We are immensely proud of Nur Sabrina's achievement. Her success is an inspiration for our students, and we are confident that more of them will clinch this prestigious award in the future. The pandemic and the MCO have presented unique challenges, but they have not deterred our students. In fact, they have shown us that these obstacles can be catalysts for success, especially when guided by faith and humility."
 
The ceremony concluded with a group photograph session and refreshments. The day ended on a high note, filled with pride, humility, and celebration for the outstanding achievements of Malaysia's young learners. Students like Nur Sabrina are undoubtedly paving the way toward a bright future in the global academic landscape.
